That’s a good idea!!

In runs you get mutations and items that impact how your spells work, like making you shoot 3 fireballs instead of 1, or allowing your grab move to revive your allies. (It can affect how the spells look, too, like changing the color of the water mages water spray and what not). We also have items that give damage upgrades, speed upgrades, etc. Those are more of the rogue-like elements though. If you're wondering cosmetically, we don't have much in yet, but it is something we'd love to add more of before we release! If you have suggestions I'd love to hear them :)

@@Shafournee that sounds great, I think being able to change the animal species would be cool, with each one possibly having different special attributes, I'd especially like a bear, and of course with the ability to change the fur coloration, maybe some clothing additions as well

Good idea! I was overly harsh on the original for the short, but there is a lot value in simpler enemies on earlier levels! We'll have to do some playtesting to really decide what we want in the long run. :)

Well, some ideas just aren’t very fun once you actually implement them! Also we have a level of polish we want to reach with anything we add, so when we decide to stick with an idea there’s still a lot of work to do to refine it into something great for the finished game! All of that comes at a cost that can make implementing other important features take even longer. We definitely try to look for places previous ideas can be reused, and there are definitely spells that were close to what we want that we might consider adding as alternative spells, but in my opinion sometimes the right choice is to scrap something if it really just doesn’t work that well!

The idea of the campfire being able to shoot little fireballs of his own sounds great! We might just have to add that :D Sounds like you're slowly just building your own companion at this point which would be awesome

Nay nay, plasma IS fire. Fire is caused by the energy in a flammable object to be released pretty rapidly.

Yeah! A necromancer could be awesome for that! A blood mage could use his health as a resource too! Like splitting his health bar in half, but also making a copy of himself. Cool suggestions! :)

@@Shafourneethe blood mage could also maybe take blood from dead enemies and use that for different/stronger spells

@@Apollo-._ I like that idea! Charging yourself up with enemy blood is pretty cool! Stealing blood from your enemies and giving it to your allies could be cool as well!

The other programmer on the project has played a lot of Genshin, but I never have so I had to look her up LOL.
